Satori Ventures is real estate re-imagined. Satori is a term known in the far East to mean awakening or sudden enlightenment.
The website was designed using Squarespace. I set the color, typographic styles and layouts for Kimberly to evolve. The palette that evokes a feminine serenity and plays with light and subtle contrast. The whitespace lets the photography shine.
Enlightenment, growth, balance, success, serenity
I was inspired by the lotus and it's ties to enlightenment, growth, balance, and success in Japanese culture.
The gold brush stroke echoes a handmade and traditional feel while encapsulating modernity and framing a story. The center brings in a sense of dimension and landscape, the journey, and the homes in the distance that form a small community on the horizon.
The lotus petals expand out from beyond the gold brush stroke. Growth and awakening that cannot be contained. Within the lotus, a figure is awakening and stretching upward.
